Transform Your Life

I’m Elizabeth Pace, LPCS, M.ED. I’m licensed to practice in Minnesota, Ohio, Florida, and Louisiana. As a trauma therapist and researcher, I help my clients experience a new freedom to rely on their own inner wisdom. You have incredible intuition, but you may have been disconnected from it due to early life experiences.

It really is possible to heal your life.

Transforming your life starts with transforming your nervous system. Feeling baffled by our own personality quirks, coping strategies, and lightning fast reactions to life can leave us feeling frustrated, confused, ashamed, and hopeless.

Utilizing a combined somatic and cognitive approach to trauma treatment called Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT), I work to help my clients desensitize their overactive threat responses, which allows them to respond to life in ways that are more authentic to them.

Preliminary research is showing that AIT is comparable in effectiveness to EMDR and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), but AIT practitioners would describe it as the best of both worlds from cognitive talk therapy and deep somatic work.

AIT is unique in that it allows us to go as far back as you need! That can be:

In this lifetime in your early childhood that’s before your conscious memories (way earlier than an EMDR touchstone memory can reach).

Cultural/historical or ancestral traumas that happened to people in your family line. The learned behaviors and consequences affected your family and continue to affect you to this day.

Healing your life IS possible! I can help you do that.

Is a full life overhaul too much to ask for?

Individual therapy

This always begins with getting a clear picture of your goals: what would your life look like if you had more agency? What would it feel like if you could trust yourself more and be more relaxed when things aren’t going your way? What if you actually do know what you want and need, but you were trained not to inquire within?

Somatic Trauma Treatment

Kinesiology style manual muscle testing (kMMT) allows us to get access to unconscious material that we need in order to identify the course of treatment and treat the unconscious blocks to transformation. This is like a “GPS for the unconscious” while you’re working on reconnecting with your own inner knowing.

Healing Blocking Beliefs

Most, if not all, of us have unconscious blocks to our own healing and transformation. What are we afraid we’d lose if we changed? Do we even think we’re worthy of the life we dream about? “Clearing” the blocking beliefs helps prepare clients for radical transformation and help them make sense of the life they’re building as it’s happening! It also helps us understand what we’re defending, which aids in self-compassion.

Are you a Big “Thinker?”

Both the wounds we carry and the capacity for healing are found in the body. There is much to be discovered, uncovered, and healed in one human being’s lifetime. But it’s not really possible to solve a problem in the basement from the C-Suite of the building. I work with intellectualizers who like to solve problems but feel lost on where to start with their own healing journeys.

Cultural and Historical Trauma Online Course

This short course introduces the concept that some of the causes and conditions of our present day suffering actually begin with trauma in our ancestors’ lifetimes, and in our cultural history. There is also a healing portion after each section to process the somatic consequences of this historical trauma in your bodies. You didn’t “choose” many of your least helpful coping strategies, you inherited them.

You don’t have to honor your ancestors by carrying their burdens

Healing traumatic blocks that have their roots in ancestry and cultural history can elevate your whole family line! You don’t have to be loyal to patterns that were necessary for survival then, but are hindering you now.

Here’s a little snippet of the section “what are children for?”
